RIP Susan Pommer
We loved Susan so much. We cannot bear to take her off the site. RIP dear Susan.
"Three years ago, I was looking for a young horse to train up through the levels because my young one had multiple health issues. I bought my young mare, Rhodara, from one of Jane's students (Melissa Rogers). Melissa is a wonderful rider, so I asked her who she trained with, and she told me Jane Ewer. I had been looking for an upper-level trainer; someone who I could learn from and who respected the horse. I had a clear idea of what I was looking for. I had made it to 4th level successfully, and needed help getting beyond that. I tried a lesson with Jane, and I never looked back. I feel so lucky to have found a trainer who does not belittle me, and does not make me feel like an idiot when I don't get it. She really knows her stuff. In addition, I feel comfortable having her get on my precious FEI horse, and he always feels better when I get back on. Jane has multiple ways of explaining and troubleshooting, and knows when the horse needs a break. She is definitely the right person for me."
